Are you exhausted, frustrated, and totally confused by your kid’s explosive behaviors?

👉 "Be more consistent."
👉 "You just need firmer boundaries."
👉 "Have you tried a sticker chart?"

If you’ve heard these pieces of advice more times than you can count—only to watch them fail over and over—you’re not alone.

💬 You’ve read all the books, talked to all the professionals, and tried every technique… and yet, things feel harder, not easier.

💬 You know deep down that traditional parenting strategies aren’t working for your child, but you feel lost on what else to do.

💬 You’re tired of feeling blamed, judged, and misunderstood when all you want is to help your child thrive.

I see you. I’ve been there.

It’s time to stop trying to “manage” behaviors—and start understanding the neuroscience behind them.

There’s a better way. Let me show you how.

GET STARTED

For the parents and caregivers of explosive, inflexible, and demand-avoidant kids and teens yearning for something more...

Are you sick of the same old recommendations being thrown your way? (ABA! Sticker charts! Timeouts! Have you tried a gluten-free diet?)

Welcome. I'm glad you're here.

Let's ditch the outdated behavioral approaches and listen to neuroscience (and the adult autistic community) instead.

What You'll Find Here...

✔️ A Neurodiversity-Affirming, Trauma-Informed Approach – Rooted in respect, understanding, and the latest in neuroscience.

✔️ A Collaborative Partner, Not an “Expert” Telling You What to Do – Because you know your child best. I’m here to support, not dictate.

✔️ Creative Solutions for the Stickiest Situations – When the usual advice doesn’t work, we’ll think outside the box together.

✔️ The Confidence to Trust Your Own Intuition – Because deep down, you already have the wisdom—you just need the support to believe in it.

What You Won't Get Here...

✔️ The Same Tired, Cookie-Cutter Advice – No more “just ignore the bad behavior and it will stop” or “have you tried a rewards chart?” recommendations that don’t work for your child.

✔️ Behavioral Interventions That Miss the Bigger Picture – No ABA, no sticker charts, no time-outs—because your child needs understanding, not compliance-based tactics.

✔️ Toxic Positivity or Empty Platitudes – No “just stay positive” or “everything happens for a reason” nonsense—only real, meaningful support.

✔️ Judgment, Shame, or “Shoulds” – This is a safe space where your unique family is respected, not criticized.

YES PLEASE!

Hi! I'm
Lindsay

And despite having three degrees, a successful career, and a loving marriage, I spent years feeling like a terrible mom.

When I had my first kid in 2014, I was quickly baffled by him. By the time he became a toddler, he was explosive, irritable, and difficult to soothe. I couldn't believe that I had spent so many years meticulously planning and preparing to be a mother just to suck so badly at it.

None of the many professionals I took him to saw it, but at age 7, a skilled practitioner told us he had no doubt our son was autistic. A short time later, I stumbled across pathological demand avoidance, a little-known profile of autism, and my entire parenting experience suddenly made sense.
